PostPlan
Terms of service
Last updated 4 September 2026
These are the terms for using PostPlan. Using the app means you accept them.
Who these terms are with
PostPlan is a service provided by Slate Harbour Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17435290, whose registered office is at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. “We” and “us” below mean Slate Harbour Ltd. PostPlan is the name the service trades under; Slate Harbour Ltd is the company you are contracting with.
What PostPlan does
It helps a small business plan and write social media posts, and — if you connect an Instagram professional account — publish them. You need an account to use it, and at this stage you need an invitation to make one.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself; anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us if you think somebody else has got into it. One person, one account, and do not share a login with people you would not hand your Instagram to.
Your content stays yours
The photographs you upload and the posts you write remain yours. You give us permission to store them and to process them for one purpose: running the app for you — generating captions, compositing images, and publishing them where you tell us to. We do not claim ownership, we do not licence your content to anyone else, and we do not use it to advertise.
What you must not post through it
Anything unlawful, anything that infringes somebody else’s rights, or anything that breaks the rules of the platform you are posting to. Instagram’s terms apply to you as much as ours do, and we can suspend an account being used to break them.
The AI writes drafts, not final copy
Captions, hashtags and plans are generated by a language model. It gets things wrong. Read what it wrote before you publish it — once a post is on Instagram it is yours and it is public, and we cannot take it back for you. You are responsible for what goes out under your name.
What we do not promise
PostPlan is early software run by a very small operation. We do not promise it will be available at any particular time, that a scheduled post will definitely go out, or that Instagram will keep accepting what we send it. Publishing depends on Meta’s API, which can change or refuse a post for reasons outside our control. Do not rely on it for something that has to happen.
The app is provided as it is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost custom, or anything that follows from a post going out late, not going out, or going out wrong.
Ending it
You can stop at any time by deleting your account, which removes your data. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why where we sensibly can.
Changes
If these terms change materially we will say so in the app before the change applies to you. The date at the top of this page is when it was last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them. If you are a consumer, nothing here takes away the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, or your right to bring proceedings in your own local courts.
