Photograph it.Posted.

5 taps, about 17 seconds. The same post by hand takes 2 to 5 minutes.

Invitation only while Instagram review finishes. No spam, one email when there's a place.

Two ways to use it, and one of them is a camera.

Post

Photograph it. We write the words.

Point the camera at whatever you just made. The caption, the hashtags and the alt text come back written for your business, and you can edit any of it before it goes.

A tray of sourdough loaves, just out of the oven, on a steel rack.

First loaves are out. Still too hot to slice, which has never stopped anyone. In from 7 if you want one warm.

Plan

A month of posts, from a paragraph.

Describe the business once. You get thirty posts spread across the kinds of thing worth posting — the work itself, the people behind it, what customers say — on a calendar you can drag around.

Sourdough, out at seven, gone by half nine most days. This is what the early start is for.

Publish

It goes out without you.

Pick a day and forget it. Posts publish to Instagram on their own, at times taken from published research rather than guessed.

Questions

What does PostPlan do?

PostPlan writes and publishes social media posts for small businesses. You photograph something you made or did, and PostPlan writes the caption, the hashtags and the alt text, then posts it to Instagram. It can also plan a month of posts in advance from a short description of the business.

How long does it actually take to post something?

Posting through PostPlan takes five taps and about seventeen seconds, measured on a real phone in August 2026. Writing the same post by hand and pasting it into Instagram takes two to five minutes, most of which is deciding what to say.

How much does PostPlan cost?

PostPlan is free while it is in beta. There is no card required and no trial that expires. Paid plans are expected at around £9.99 a month once Instagram review is complete, and anybody on the waitlist will be told before that happens.

Do I need any marketing experience to use PostPlan?

No. PostPlan is built for people who run a business rather than a marketing department — a baker, a plumber, a barber. It asks a few plain questions about what the business does and who its customers are, and writes from those answers. There is nothing to configure.

Can I change what the AI writes before it goes out?

Yes. Every caption, hashtag and posting time in PostPlan is editable before anything is published, and nothing is posted without being approved. Editing a post costs nothing and does not call the AI again.

Which social networks does PostPlan support?

PostPlan publishes to Instagram business and creator accounts today. Facebook Pages and LinkedIn are planned and not yet built. Posts can be written and planned for any of them, but only Instagram is published automatically.
